Oakdale Goodyear Under New Ownership, Plans Grand Reopening
The shop previously had "bad following" in town, according to new manager Chris Glass.
The Oakdale Goodyear Service Center has new owners and is planning a grand reopening event for June 28-29.
Events include vendor booths, free oil changes, hotdogs and brats, and raffles for free items, including a television, said Chris Glass, manager.
The shop had a “bad following” under the previous ownership, and in the nine months since the change Goodyear has worked to make improvements for customers, Glass said.
The Oakdale Goodyear has lowered costs for parts and labor, he said, and the shop is now ASE certified, as well.
“A lot of customers like to have that peace of mind,” Glass said.
Goodyear offers a wide range of services, from window tinting to transmission work, Glass said.
It’s located at 1165 Geneva Ave. N., in Oakdale.
