Oakdale Seeks Nominations for Volunteer of the Year

Oakdale is accepting nominations for Volunteer of the Year until Nov. 1.

The city of Oakdale on Thursday announced that it is seeking nominations for Volunteer of the Year.

The Oakdale City Council established the annual recognition program so the community can recognize and learn more about the many made by volunteers in the city. 

"Volunteers are a very special breed—they’re always willing to be of service to others, to lend a hand, or share their skills, time or talents," reads part of the release.

Those who wish to nominate a volunteer can submit a nomination form (at www.ci.oakdale.mn) by Nov. 1.
