Oakdale Scooter Crash Victim Remains in Critical Condition
The crash happened on Helmo Avenue North in Oakdale on Tuesday night.
The 20-year-old Oakdale man who was severely injured on his scooter in a crash Tuesday night remained in critical condition as of noon Thursday, according to Oakdale police.
Officers at about 10:15 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, were called to the 1900 block of Helmo Avenue North on a report of a crash.
The police report said the man was riding a motorcycle, but it was a scooter, said Michelle Stark, Oakdale Police spokeswoman.

There were three vehicles at the scene, including the scooter, and the 20-year-old was transported to Regions Hospital.
The 18-year-old driver of a Honda Civic involved in the crash may face charges pending the investigation, the report says. The other vehicle was a Nissan Sentra.
