Oakdale Modifies Winter Parking Regulations

The city on Monday sent out reminders about several items related to winter.

With winter on the horizon, the city of Oakdale this week issued a notice about changes to its winter parking regulations and other items.

Oakdale’s winter parking regulations have been modified.

From Nov. 1 through April 1, vehicles may not park on city streets between the hours of midnight and 5 a.m., or any time when two or more inches of snow falls.

Also, shoveling snow or ice into city streets—regardless of whether the road has already been plowed—can result in a fine for the property owner.

The city also asks that snow forts be kept away from streets or the middle of cul de sacs.
